The 4” 304 Stainless Steel Pump Sleeve (or pump shroud) is very well suited for harsh environments associated with oil and gas production, or in environmental applications.

Flow inducer sleeves ensure proper cooling of the submersible pump motor.  In open bodies of water such as a tank, sump, or pond the flow sleeve is necessary for proper cooling of the submersible motor.

In oil and gas applications, the down hole pump assembly is installed into the flow inducer sleeve then the sleeve is usually installed below the perforations to eliminate "gas locking" of the down hole pump.  

In cases where the flow inducer sleeve cannot be set below the perforations, a gas separating flow inducer sleeve is used to mechanically separate the natural gas and route it up the annulus keeping the gas out of the pump.
This pump sleeve has a flush thread cap for easy installation and service.
