Oil Well Pumps
Pumps of Oklahoma, Inc. has been the leader in
Coal Bed Methane submersible oil well pump supply for the past 10 years. For natural gas, oil and methane gas recovery in conventional wells and non-conventional formations such as coal seams and fractured shales, the Grundfos Coal Bed Methane (CBM)
submersible pump has proven to be the most durable and cost effective oil well pump in the industry. Producing oil and gas from coal beds or fractured shales requires the formation become de-watered. This has inherent problems as flows decrease, methane gas increases and coal fines are introduced into the wellbore.
The Grundfos
Coal Bed Methane submersible oil well pump has all 304 stainless steel construction, and is designed to withstand the harsh environment that exists in coal bed methane recovery wells and conventional wells. We couple the pumps with the Franklin coal bed methane electric submersible pump motors. These motors have a rugged rotary shaft seal and extra heavy motor base to hold up to severe environments. Grundfos coal bed methane oil well pumps can also be used as a convention pump. The all-stainless steel construction makes this oil well pump very well suited for high chloride, hydrogen sulfide and crude oil environments. The floating stack on the Grundfos CBM pump allows for very low flows on the pump as the wells de-water. When the pump is used with a variable speed drive, the flows can be further controlled as the liquid flow rates further decrease throughout the production cycle of the coal bed methane or oil well. For down hole gas separation we have a CH4 downhole gas separator/gas shroud. This is also all 304 Stainless steel construction and will hold up well in the harsh oil environments.
Pumps of Oklahoma Inc. has supplied tens of thousands of Grundfos coal bed methane pumps throughout the major basins in the United States, Canada and several “off continent” basins. We placed the first coal bed methane pumps in the Powder River Basin in 1987 as a Beta project for a feasibility study of methane gas recovery within contiguous coal seams. We also supply pumps for oil and gas production in the Cherokee Uplift of Kansas and Oklahoma, the Arkoma Basin of Oklahoma, the Black Warrior Basin in Alabama, Illinois Basin, the Central and Northern Appalachian Basins, the San Juan and Piceance Basin along with the many oil and gas plays throughout the states of Texas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, and Kansas.
Pumps of Oklahoma, Inc also supply
salt water disposal pumps to deal with the associated produced water. These multi staged centrifugal type pumps are also all stainless steel construction. These Salt water disposal pumps can pump volumes up to 30,000 BPD and pressures up to 600psi. We also supply a variety of salt water transfer pumps.
